 Merit Screw Products was founded in 1973 by Jack And Mary Briscoe. The company was called Jack Briscoe Company which was started in St Petersburg, FL. The company was started with a couple of Brown& Sharpe Screw Machines along with a couple of other machines for second hand operation.

The company expanded and in 1983 the business moved to Clearwater and became Merit Screw Products,Inc. MSP as always been a quality run family business with Jack Briscoe the founder being a second generation highly skilled machinist along with his wife Mary who runs the office have been in business for over 30 years.

In 1994 their son Brad started to learn the family trade to help out with the family business, even though he swears he started younger by picking parts from chips at an early age.

Now MSP is in Hernando,Fl and has expanded to include CNC maching along with Automatic Screw machines. Merit Screw Products has always made quality precision products at affordable prices for over thirty years, so let over 50 years of maching experience build your part with the quality you expect from an American made products.
